## Installation

1. Download the installer and run it.
2. Follow its steps; MAPu lands in the Start menu and on the desktop.
3. To update, install the new one over the old; your settings stay. The program tells you when a new version is out.

Windows may warn you ("Windows protected your PC") because the installer is not signed: "More info" → "Run anyway".

## System requirements

- **Windows 10 or 11** — 64-bit.
- **Memory** — at least 8 GB.
- **Graphics card** — on an NVIDIA card (driver 570 or newer) fast hardware encoding (NVENC); without it the CPU encodes, more slowly.
- **Internet for the map** — an area already seen is remembered and works offline next time.
